    1. 📌 Clarification:
In the minute 4:12 of the video by mistake i typed slash wrong but even when typed correctly (`OOBE\BYPASSNRO`), that old OOBE command is patched in Windows 11 25H2 Insider builds (starting Build 26220.6772) and will show “not recognized” or cause a restart loop.
I recorded a quick proof short video and posted it here: https://staging.tips2fix.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/oobe-bypassnro-not-working-in-widnows-11-25h2-insider-developer.mp4

  1. This is what I’ve done in the past with local accounts on new W11 machines – get up to the point where it asks me how I’m going to sign in, and select Work or School account, and then I have the option to Domain Join instead and click on that. I then get prompted to setup a local user name and pw, set my security options and then registration of the device. Once I get past that I immediately unplug the network cable (99.5% of the times, it’s on a USB-C connection) which bypasses all of the security and feature updates which sometimes takes HOURS to get through (on 16GB of RAM and an SSD – baffling) and then I’m at a local admin user account ready to roll with the punches.

    1. That’s a clean way to do it, Bobby. Domain join instead is still a handy route on Pro and Enterprise, but Home doesn’t offer the work or school option at all, so there the script from the post is the easier way. Unplugging the network once the local account is created also skips that long update download during setup, just run Windows Update after you reach the desktop.
